When you need a fast, square cut and big capacity, the COS18 Cut Off Saw makes short work of any job. It's ideal for cutting lumber, plastics, composites and non-ferrous materials. Powered by a heavy-duty 10HP motor, the 18" blade handles heavy work. Designed for production cutting of up to 70 cycles per minute. Standard equipment includes a pneumatic safety guard on the infeed and a full basket guard on the outfeed side. The saw is constructed with a cast iron table and heavy steel plate body, built for production cutting. The blade is mounted to a chrome steel alloy arbor that is precision ground and balanced. The arbor is supported by massive bearings and full power of the 10HP motor is transmitted to the blade. Each cutting cycle is cushioned by a large shock absorber and cycle times are easily adjustable. Blade changes are accomplished quickly through the large side access door. Accessory infeed and outfeed tables are mounted quickly to the saw and the eight-foot table features three stops and scale.
