A rugged cast iron CNC copy lathe from Germany,
the ap-7000-CNC from Hapfo has a proven track record. It provides copy turning
up to 300mm diameter, and is the perfect machine for the larger kitchen and
furniture manufacturer, top choice for Base ball bat makers. With a bed length of 1800mm or 2500mm, the Hapfo
ap-7000-CNC is one of the larger models of Hapfo lathes.

The control panel uses PC-based MegaCAD software
which, together with the easy to use control unit makes for efficient operation,
and you can change the program in seconds. With the ap- 7000 CNC and laser
scanning, you do not need copy templates any more. The laser scanning system
"reads" the piece to be copied, and inputs the work piece design into the
MegaCAD program. If you wish, you can then make modifications, or reproduce it
exactly as the work piece.
The ap-7000-CNC has a unique swiveling tool
holder that can give perfect 90% angles in the work. Vertical leading and
decreasing outlines are possible and you can have constant feeding at any lead
(decrease). Using the front mounted milling unit and profile cutter, twists and
flutes are so easy. The ap-7000-CNC is ideally suited for the production of
round profiles, such as banisters, table-legs, chair-legs, lamp standards. It
also handles twisted profiles and longitudinal groovings with ease, and happily
tackles the milling of edged profiles from 1 to 24 piece surfaces. There is a
choice of ring or four-jaw steadies up to 150 mm.
